1. Mountain High Yoghurt. (Yes. Spelled "yoghurt. I like to pronounce it "Yog (rhymes with jog) Hhhhurt (lots of 'H' sound.)" I was told about this brand by my friend, Mollie. While we were shopping one day (by "shopping" I really mean "mooching off of Mollie's Costco membership") she told me about this brand of yogurt that she had requested that the local health food store start to carry. So I went home, finished off my tub of Fage Greek yogurt (it's great, but it's pricey) and a few days later, purchased a large tub of Mountain High. A.MA.ZING. I can eat the plain yogurt plain. It honestly needs no embellishment. But it's good with honey or other fruit, it's as easy, if not easier to cook with than any brand of Greek yogurt I've tried, and it's a better-tasting substitute for sour cream... And guess what? It's. Cheaper. $6 for a large 64 oz. tub of the stuff. The Fage costs around $3.69 for (I believe) 17.6 oz.
2. ALO Drinks. My friend Jenni discovered these while visiting Iowa this summer. These drinks are so delicious and they have little chunks of aloe vera plant floating around in them. To some of you who have texture issues, that might sound gross, but give it a chance. Aloe vera is one of the best natural healers in the plant world! Think of how drinking some of this stuff could heal you! They have many varieties that all contain different good-for-you ingredients.... Wheat grass, pomegranate, and honey just to name a few!
3. This (see picture below) Nalgene bottle. Everything. Size, shape, color. LOVE. It fits (upside down) in cup holders, it's much more sleek than the classic version, and it doesn't splash me in the face like the larger ones tend to do. My cousin Abby generously gave me this bottle a couple of months ago and it has been by my side ever since. You can order it on Nalgene's website for only $6.73. What a steal!
4. Something I found on Pinterest... Paint your nails, spray with Pam (or any other cooking spray) and they are DRY. I do not kid. This works. I tried it. It works. Now, I would still recommend being careful because mine did smudge a little while I was trying to tie shoes and fix my hair and do all of the things you're not supposed to do with wet nails... But it works really well and (added bonus!) my nails didn't chip for almost a week!
5. Friends with blogs! One of my closest friends, Kelly, started a blog recently. I'm so glad, too, because she's a damn good writer. And, on a selfish note, I really enjoy reading what she has to say. Another friend, Monica, blogs about cooking and canning and, in a nutshell, being awesome in the kitchen (hence the title of her blog, Rockin' the Kitchen.) I am going to start reading through some more of my friends blogs in the next couple days and when I do, I'll pass them along!

...And brag time. My baby is walking! It's incredible. Babies are incredible, face it.
